if you use regular AAA's then fry your board will. you have to have 1.2v rechargeables for the 6 cell

Holly crap this thing moves now with 6 cell mod, im using the RS rechargeable 1.2vAAA batterys
/ but damn my stage 2 motor get stupid hot, eve after like 3-4mins fo ripping it, i guess this is normal due ti running the extra volts thry it |

last time my friend used 8 cells but it didn't burn out.i guess because of the battery kinda old.

ratshack motors get the job done, but lazily. cooling is bad, efficiency is bad, neatness is bad, power is bad. (that's why most xmodders already have bought faster motors from ATOMICMODS (no duh))

I think you will need FET's before you can get the Mod Motor,
An dwith that you need high capacity battery for those motors or 6 cell![8D] |

All of the same gen XMODS are exactly alike under the body. The body has almost zero to do with how the car performs. Firestriker I have a 1st gen Yellow GT-r that I don't use. It's in good shape comes with batteries, charger and 4wd kit installed. PM if you are interested. |

I have 6 of these X mods I got these when I was looking for a cheap RC car I could modify.So When Radioshack here in Canada became The Source CC the cars price were cut in half and so were all the mods for them I have a black R34 a Yellow R34 that's now GunMetal a White supra The 65 Mustang NSX and RSXthe Gunmetal R34 has a stage 2 motor metal bearings suspension upgrade AWD and Drift tires but the thing drifts better when I use Soft slicks in front and Hard slicks in the rear (on a hardwood floor).Since owning these little racers I bought two Tamiya TT-01's.They are perfect for running around thae house and having fun on those rainy snowy days that prevent me using my TT-01's.

Also there back to regualar price so it's better to just get a TT-01You get hit buying the kit radio and Battery but all the hop ups are about the same price as the Xmods hop ups(CC=$$$$). |
