Ok its been a while, and looks like we have some steam building. I'm willing to pony up some of my own time to get this event working out.

We need some communication besides the message board

Let me know so we can get this rolling.
This is how I see it working:
Jugement is going to be posted up on the forums.
Proof and track will be Youtube viewable by judges, members, & participents

Its going to be confusing to offer diffrent segments & classes so we need somone who is good at management.

Everything is still vauge right now so like I said we need to get together, brain storm, discuss some ideas

I'd like to see this challenge/event/contest to become world wide. Its hard for us to travel to hold meetings and events so I guess we'll have to use the internet to connect and compete.
So again. Lets get something started forreal. We can have websites and zines sponsor the events, and judge them similar to Hot import nights. It'll give the RC drift community an oppertunity to grow and reach more people. Plus we'll have a hell of a lot of fun developing our drifting skills and styles for events and segments.

Like i said before ill be a judge for the contest..... and im also going to offer a Set of my Neon or Head/tail lights from my sebsite. www.the805hobbies.webs.com
but yea we need to meet up on a yahoo msger or Aim msger to see what the contest is going to be based on....
we also need to see if other RC shops wanna pony up some items. not only for this contest.. but for contests down the road....

I don’t want to take charge with the rule making, but I’ll be happy to discuss anything in this forum. Who’s going to be in charge of this?

There needs to be a thread on here specifically for this competition. That way we don't mess this thread up, and also so there might be more interest from others.

We can discuss rules, and edit them into the first post later. Maybe all of the videos can be posted in the “Videos of Your Drifter…” thread with an appropriate title, so the judges can spot them.

Cool:D, I'm excited. I dusted my drifter off today and I'm hoping the weather gets nicer.

Thought ya'll might like this one,,,I have a kyosho MGB but it is belt driven 4 wheel drive, I guess I could take out the front drive shafts and try it, but I remember it being really squirrely when one broke, and its been years so the .15 os motor in it is stuck, probably clean up easy...Rog
