RE: 2012 Tamiya Super Fighter GR Build
I rummaged around for some turnbuckles and found some that would be suitable, so swapped out the front upper arms for some adjustables...
Now just waiting for my camber gauge to arrive so I can get it set up properly!! I'm thinking about 2mm total toe-out and -3 degrees camber should be right to keep her stable and good in the corners... thoughts??

Went out for a run earlier in the week, it's still pretty muddy out there with all this rain we've had lately...
And of course water and electronics don't tend to mix too well...
...resulting in my first ESC casualty...
I guess that's what happens when your 3S LiPo decides to discharge each of its cells to 1.2v (as measured by my Fluke post-run) directly though the circuitry!! : s Think I'll drill a couple of small drain holes near the rear of the tub behind the ESC and receiver...

Lol! Yeah, I think a couple of balloons should do the trick... Receiver is a Futaba R162 w/ BEC so fairly cheap but would pay to protect it. The spares I have I want to keep for my new F1 cars!

The Gearbox Life of the Super Fighter GR
The gearbox goes well for about a year, but I have had mine for three, and some of the gears have stripped, so one wheel gets more power than the other. I might have done too many burnouts... xD

Try upgrading to the ball diff and steel axles... the diff is a Tamiya part and the axles I think came from 3Racing. The front and rear carbon shock towers are both 3Racing but hard to find. You could try eBay, should find most spares and upgrades on there. The front tower will require a turnbuckle upper arm like I did, which can be gotten from www.tqrcracing.com, along with the ball sockets and other hardware.

Brings back memories of building my younger brother's first car with him(super fighter g). It's definitely a fun buggy to drive. Do you plan on upgrading to oil filled shocks?
