Default Losi Ten SCTE just switched off

Hi guys,

I've taken my Losi Ten SCTE (V1) back on the track with my son after few years not using it. It's a great car but it's 8 years old.
It was working fine until yesterday. After a quick run, nothing crazy, I just left the car standing still for a bit as I was doing something else, it was still ON. After 2 minutes, it just switched off completely. It's not the battery as I tried another one.
Nothing is responding, like if the battery wasn't plugged. Do you think the ESC just died ? Is there any way to test it ?
If this is the case, the ESC is a 1/10 Msc McPro Brushless ESC (Code: LOSB9504) which is the original EXC that came with the car but which is now discontinued so I can't find any online. Do you know an alternative I can buy with the same specs ?

Thanks for you help. I've been out of the RC for too long and lost track a bit

Thanks for the answer.
Do I have to get the B-Link ? Or is it only optional ?

the B-Link is a dongle that plugs into the ESC which lets you connect to your smart device via the Castle Link app using Bluetooth.

Thank you. I was hoping I could just replace the ESC as my motor is still working fine.
Anyway, thank you for that !
