hey, im really haveing trouble with the diff on my t3, the tranny went out on me at a race last sunday and i tore it down before the main, the idler gear was completely stripped. i put a new one in it and it still sat there and spun( the spurr spun around but not the diff and out drives) so i tore it down again and took the diff apart, everthing seemed fine so i put it back together and tighened down the diff, same thing again. i had an extra tranny out of a b3 so i put that in and it did the same god dam thing, im about to lose my mind here, if anyone has any tips i would really apperciate it alot. thanks -chad

Check the main gear inside the differential (take it completely apart in other words). This same thing happened to me a few weeks back, only in reverse... The main gear in the diff had completely broken. The holes where the bearings go worked sort of like a serration, and seperated the inside of the gear from the teeth on it. After I got a new diff gear, not even a few days later, the idler gear stripped.
