I still can't get it to finish loading. oh well. I don't know about the 4.5 It might not have the torque to run it. I think after new batteries I'm getting a new sphere/3-star combo like in the movie. I wonder if it would make a rustler wheelstand?[sm=devious.gif]

Cool, Its not really important just thought it would add personality.

By the way it seems that all brushless systems of the same design are rated at the same torque per volt, does this mean a 4-star has as much torque as a 1-star? It just seems unreal But its not exactly like a convitional electric motor

What do you mean put a xxx-t tranny in a rustler? If so does that even work?

i don't know about the rating's thing . how ever brush less motors run on 3 phase ac like big commercial building's due for better efficiency and more low end torque. i believe that is correct any how if i am wrong someone will let me know.

So the lowest turn brushless system is faster and has no down side!
Maybe

Well guys It looks like I'm going to have to buy tose new IB4200's and the intellipeak charger. Last night I was doing some bashing in the basement. It's like 5 degrees hear.[] Then I whent to charge my battery so I pulged it in up stars Ran down stars to talk to my dad and came back 10-15 minutes later and it was melted, completly. I know not to leave your batterys but they usally charge in like 25 minutes not blow up in 10-15 minutes![:@]

when i was running with the jatos i had it geared way up there like 23 pinion,78 spure . and still took off great , it was cold out so not much problem with over heating . would not do it on a 90 degree day in texas though.
as for the aluminum chassis not yet i am thinking of makeing one well drawing it up the going to a local metal shop and haveing them cut it. Or I thought i mught try G-10 or carbon fiber not sure yet just in the thinking stage right now.

Hey king what do you think caused my battery to blow up just the cheap quality of the venom batteries?

Be careful with the aluminum chassis It can cause batteries to short according to speedmunkey.

Thanks for useing your brain .[:-][8D]

no problem.

I just read a bunch of stuff about brushless and they seem to have the same torque-speed trade off that brushed motors do.

may be so but you don't replace brushes, cut comms after every two or three runs with brush less. i like low maintenance and high power if only i could find a woman with that combo . [:-][8D] glad my wife is not reading this ha-ha. I never ran lower than a 19 double turn hand wound brushed motor . before i purchased my brush less . just did not want the head ache of motor maintenance. I am just lazy after i work 10 or 12 hours a day who wants to rebuild some thing before you bash i sure don't.

put cloth around any exposed metal parts of the battery. Or you could use thin rubber like a balloon.
