How does the offset on the Wheely King wheels compare to the Rustler's stock wheels?

Well the off set seems to be the same. The tires are wider but maybe 1/4 inch. They are not bad I had them on the wheely king when before I got my crawler tires for it and they grip pretty good. I also have a set of the geolanders from hpi on my mt2 and they are good too I like those way more then the masher type tire. The hpi ones from the wheely king the tread is rounded it's not like the tread Rhys on the t maxx and e maxx

Well finally figured out what was making noise in my drive system. A good chunk of teeth on my dif. gear have been shaved/ bent over. Also wore out one of my bushings its now oval. So just add to my list of things that need to be replace.

Here is some pick of my local track. It is being listed as the largest in Canada. There will be nationals held here next year, and a few other big races.

The track still has some fine tuning to be done and finalized, but this should be the final lay out. There is also an oval, rock crawling, and plans for a boat pond set up.

The place is called Muskoka Madtrax. Their web site should be up soon. They do have a facebook page, and a few you tube vids.
Oh ya here is Huntsville ON.

Its not to far makes for a good weekend trip.   When traffic is quiet its only a 2 to 2.5 hr trip.  Lots of places to stay on any budget even a local Ontario park.   You know you live in Canada when you measure distance by time.

Wow, that looks awesome!

Also about you bearing, get the Ceramic ball bearing, they will last forever.
You can also use axle grease inside the transmission, and that will greatly extend the life of the gears.

Nice man, that is a good ESC, just don't let it get wet, that is the down fall to Novaks, even the "waterproof" ones burn out if they get wet, and Novak won't services them, or thats what I have been told anyway. [:@][:'(]

I do use grease on the internal gears.  I guess the failure of one meant the demise of the other.  I do plan to switch ball bearings.  Another note is that mine dose not have the slipper clutch.

O.K. yea, go to bearings, the ceramic ones are the best and will last forever.
The Slipper clutch in my opinion is useless, it ether slips to much, or not enough, so I just locked mine.
I am ruining mashers, so the axles were getting blown out anyway, so I just didn't bother with it.

Also, if you plan on ruining larger tires like mashers, get the MIP CVDs for it.
If you are keeping to regular sized tires then the CVDs don't do much.

Ya I am staying with same size tires going with Gladiator II 2.2 for the rear.  Looking to get metal outer diff gear.

Here is a good question.  Is it work changing as many parts as possible to aluminum/metal from the plastic or just high stressed areas?

At some point i plan to go brushless.  I also planing to do the whole thing over about a years worth of time depending on funds.

Ya I need to get a guys weekend in some time myself.   Always good to once and a while get away from the home on own.

Um, there really is no reason to change any parts (other then the the shocks, and baring carriers) on the Rustler to Aluminum, other then for the cool factor of it.
