Yes... My company, Grand Motorsports, sells them. We just signed up with a store on RC Universe. Check it out!

From one avid Drag Racing fan to another.

New Era has one electric dragster.

Now, if only Steve Saik still made motors!

If you're looking for cobalt or neo drag motors, Roy Anderson Engineering is now making them. He has found a source for better-grade Neo magnets from the US... better than the imported stuff that everybody used to have to use. Follow the RAE link off the Grand Motorsports website, and you'll find 'em!

While I don't have a dragster as such, I am purchasing a HPI Pro4 for drag racing soon. BTW, great article in RC Driver on drag racing!

I use it for testing my motors and ESC's in. There aren't any places that do drag racing around here. I wish there were, I would go.

Have you guys seen what we're doing with the dragsters lately? Look at this:

http://www.bigsquidrc.com/projects/drag_build.php

With the 1:18 Mamba systems and 3 or 4 LiPo cells, these dragsters FLY!!! I guarantee you... NOTHING will out run one of these cars on the street.. And the total package is not all that expensive.

I've only put them in rail dragsters... but the mounting, motor plate and basic principle is the exact same in the GMS14 funny chassis as the dragster. I just wanted the Mamba in the lightest, longest drag car possible.

Bill Birmingham of Apogee put a Mamba Maxx /Apogee Magnum LiMN in his GMS 11 drag kit, and it just kept flipping over backwards.

That and a drag chute that could be operated with a 2 ch. radio.

I wouldn't go that far. A tekin 8.0 motor with a Quark 33a Pro-Car ESC and a 5 cell li-po surely would....
