Feigao 6s and MGM Compro 120 amp esc
so liek my birthday soon, and i was looking at some stuff on rc-monster.com yea that stuff is pretty nuts...the like 500$ esc's and all, thats like 700$ canadian. like whoa. anyways...i want some more speed compared to my ss5800, so pretty much everything, like the cheapest thing would be faster?
if i were to buy something there, it would be this esc no doubt about it...
the MGM Compro 120 amp, 12 cell brushless car controller, cuz like i dont work and stuff, and the motors are average 70$, so it comes up to 300$ canadian. i would get maybe 200$ on my birthday and if i can sell the ss5800 (which i can get alot for cuz like speedmunkeys the cool, got the box instructions and all) so that can sell... anways how does the

RE: RC-Monster stuf...
Sounds pretty sweet! Ask Mike for some help if you're not sure - he's a great guy. Tell him Alex from Boom Boom sent you. Soon enough you may see some Boom Boom Batteries on R/C Monster if you're lucky

RE: RC-Monster stuf...
will do, but its not now tho, i still want peoples oppinions on this, here are some of the questions i need info,
Is this faster then the ss5800
How much?
Does it have heat issues?
Does this combo even work together?
Whats the highest i can gear it?
How fast can i go with it compared to the novak?
Is it worth upgrading from the ss5800 to this?
Car info,
XXX-S,
Gearing at the moment 22/88
Ratio : 7.23
Trans ratio:1.83
If i get this, combo, it will most likely be some time after october 8, ill need to see how much money ill have
Ill probably sell the novak for like...125-and up? most probably going to be sold on ebay, i want as much money as i can get for it..yeah.
skrap....do your thing

there are limits to gearing....yeah you can gear to the moon, but you must have space to run and do you really want to loose all your power off the line?

Using stock gearing recommendation (88/24) , and a 6 cell 1.18+v pack, you can expect 46-50mph, easily. Play with the gearing a bit, (81/24), and you will be into the 50mph range with no sweat.

Like Sleepy said, but remember that's measured in a Stadium truck. You're going to run it in an XXX-S Sedan....
