OK so I'm eyeing the front and rear sway bar kits but just what will they do? and will they benefit me or are they best left to racers?

I moved on to getting a wheelie bar so far i have found one cheap price wise but it will needed to be modded so i need to check out my lhs and see if they have it in stock to try and eye ball it before i buy it thankfully they are about 20 houses down from me. I go for a wheelie i get it for 2 seconds then i flip backwards but why are the ones that might be perfect like $20 + dollars? it's a piece of metal with to tiny wheels!
Still waiting on my race now rebate so i can get the other parts i need.

Anyone Know if there is a stronger Gear cover out there that could fit the evader?
I was looking at the RPM ones but I can't find the original measurements for the stock one...

get plasti dip spray. plastic dipping spray for use
on tool handles, available at most hardware shops.
i havnt done it yet but many do and it works. i just
used some old primer i had lying around, for my 1/1
car. the paint was the wrong type so it half melted
the cover and made it softer. i wouldnt recomend that
though. i have a tendency to experiment with stuff
i have lying around.
on a different note- our bearings in the rear end (c hubs)
has a spacer between them. i have lost the ones in my truck,
and i think its chewing bearings because of it. does everyone
still have theres?
the vxl on 3s that is in my truck is great. i already had a run on
the battery, and i had my other one in my pocket. i was running
it hard. full throttle starts, trying to cook the diff, wheelies, flipping
over and just being silly. i got sick of it before it died. 15mins+
easy.motor was a bit warm(could hold finger for 5 seconds)
the esc didnt even break a sweat, and was ziptied in a plastic bag!
this is a very efficient and powerful setup i would reccomend to any
one. i admit the torque is a bit over the top, but thats the fun.

If you find out let me know i hate this cheap plastic one it seems to get weaker and weaker after each run.

So I ran the Evader today bald tires , missing a bearing in the front left wheel, and it did pretty good. Here is a video of it jumping on a skate board ramp. This is stock motor and a six cell stick pack.
Lug your right about having to stay on the throttle to keep the nose up. Thanks for the advise.

What did you break at the 43 second mark? the vad lands and then there is some thing there after it lands. And you almost took out your daughter? ou tat the 8 sec mark right in the ankles [X(]
Your jump at 51 sec was spot on but couldn't see the landing but it seemed like you flew straight and may have landed straight.

RE: The Evader Coalition - T.E.C.
It was a piece of paper that the evader landed on. I have not broken anything on it in a long while. Genevieve has been run over a couple of times but she bounces back and she's a good sport about it. The kids were up on the curb so feet and ankles were safe. This is here car I still need wheels and tires. I'm trying to get the Evader looking good because I let other kids and adults in the neighborhood run this one.
The Evader fly's good, stay on the throttle and it fly's level and lands on all four wheels. This has been a very good RC for us.

Yeah I heard of the plasti dip, but the problem is that all the hardware stores in my area (in Montreal, Canda) just stopped selling it a few months ago [].
I guess I will just run my evader with no cover , untill I beak the spur than I will probably convince myself to get another Duratrax cover[sm=tongue_smile.gif].
