Default Tamiya RC flashbacks

Man, you guys under 25 or so have no idea what you are missing!

For guys that had their first RC back in the 80's RC heyday, it looks like what was old is new again. Apparently some of these old designs are selling like hotcakes too - probably to people like me that had one.

no its a mauri super wheelie toyota landcruiser it was a knock off of the super willy tamiya made in 1980 the one in peices is my first rc car and the first realse of it .the one with red parts is the chassis i orderd to repair my car it is the third relase (just got hereright after i posted^ now im done reparing time to instal elect ) on the tamiya club website they consider mauri cars tamiya because the parts are almost the same

here is the pics of what is completed so far now i just need to find arms for the driver

it came with some vintage tower hobby elect to really wierd plugs for reciver

oh I remember when I saw the elf (six wheeled rival to F1) on ebay for only $100. I remember seeing a vintage R/C column featuring the orignal saying that it was worth thousands! I didn't know that they were being released so I nearly fell off my chair thinking I could buy it and then sell it again and make like $2000! lol that was funny. I also saw the real car in person. Pretty cool
