20 turn photon or 23 RZ super stock
Hi guys. I have asked at Tamiyaclub and had no responses so I will ask here and hopefully get more help.
I have just puchased a duratrax evader St and a kyosho Alpha3 pure10 EP. The evader har a RZ superstock 23turn motor in it and the kyosho has the PhotonSpeed 20turn in it. What would be the faster of these 2 motors as I am thinking of putting the photon speed back in the evader and putting the RZ superstock in the kyosho. I was worried that the stock perfex ESC would not be up to the job but it seems to handle the 20turn well enough. It just doesnt feel as fast as a standard Xspeed kyosho motor, as I have one in my other older Alpha2 pure10 Subaru rally car. Can anyone help me with some advice on these motors. I have a spare Xspeed motor here and could use that also. All gear ratios are standard. The xspeed is in a rerelease hornet which is over kill in my opinion. The hornet only has a standar TEU101 ESC. But it seems to handle the Xspeed well too. What turn are the Xspeed does anyone know?
thank you for any help and thank you for the great forums.

the photon 20t is the same as the stinger and the saturn: crap.
the tamiya 350rz is a very good stocker, much better than the above 3 i mentioned.

I know you didn't list this one but I really like the method (Orion) 21 X 2. It's slightly faster than the photon but has bearings and adjustable timing.
