Default RPM wide bumper--Pede

So I put the wide bumper on, but when the wheels turn on the truck they hit the bumper, effectively preventing one wheel from turning (the wheel that is turning into the middle of the truck). So,I think my options are to trim the bumper or do the wide conversion. Am I right or is there another trick to try? Masher 2ks all around. Thanks again, guys!

hmm that's odd. I've got 4 masher 2k's and they clear the rpm bumper ok. Must be the wheels I'm using... Mine is slightly narrower than stock in the front (not on purpose) and slightly wider than stock in the rear b/c I messed up when ordering wheels.

Anyways, back on topic... like you said, trimming the bumper would be the best route.

Did you mount the bumper in the front set of holes? I have Mashers and the wide bumper on a stock Pede and there's no rubbing.

Did you mount it right side up? The "RPM" writing should be facing down.

I would get the wide conversion. While you could just trim the bumper the wide conversion will give you better stability

r u sure you mounted the front rims to the front? if you use the rear wheels to the front, the tires will scrub on the bumper, due to the hallow offset. check it. the ones with the deep dish are the front ones -make sure they are mounted there.

Thanks for the feedback. Forgot to specify that it is 4 rear wheels. That must be the problem (well, not really a problem, but the reason I should say). I need to remember to post all of the information the first time around!

yep, due to the rear wheels mounted to the front, the bumper cannot mount + the handling gets really really BAD! better use 2 front wheels where they should be...

I didn't really notice too much handling difference, but I'm just a backyard basher right now. Plus this is my first truck!
