I must have the worst luck. Just got in my first RC vehicle (Stampede) with batteries and charger. I go to charge my batteries and guess what the discharge/charge button is broken. Its the Duratrax AC/DC Piranah Fast Charger. I am almost thinking of finding a local hobby store around here and buying a new charger because I don't really want to wait till next week to try out my new truck. Any suggestions on a possible better charger or anything at all?

If you had made an educated decision on the Piranah, I would just stick with it. If you made a decision based on guessing, I'd recommending doing some research to make sure you get what you want/need. Ask yourself if you need a "better" charger. I myself am pretty new and decided on a "pro" level ICE. I always say, do it once and do it right. The ICE has more features than I will ever use...for now. Either way, you will want to return the broken charger to the seller for a refund or return.

Whoa man that sucks[] Well I don't have a very good charger (still a peak charger though) but I heard that the Duratrax Intellipeak Ice Charger is good

Yeah I am happy with what the piranha has to offer just unhappy that I have to pay for return shipping on an item that I recieve broken. Also don't really want to wait a week if not more to get a new one returned to me

Does anyone know how well the Piranha AC/DC Digital Peak Charger NiCd/NiMH works? Any problems with it?

On another note does anyone have anything to say about Dynamites Prophet Plus AC/DC Peak Charger. Only decent looking charger hobby town carries.

your charger is fine. works nice. keep it and make sure it is broken before you return it for replacement.

Is it the digital, or just the usual old pirhana? The digital is a great charger for the price.

It was the old timer one. I realized my mistake in getting it so am going to exchange it for the peak digital pirahna.

oh, i thought you ment you had the digital piranha! lol! kick your current charger. if it isn`t peak, it isn`t worthy. period. get the digital one..for 50$ its a big bang for the buck...

Yeah I am getting the digital one for sure. I guess kind of lucky this one was broken lol.

And yeah my luck sucks because now I cant use my very first RC.
