Default aluminum upgrades

I have a XXX-T MF2, the full graphite version...

I see there are some aluminum upgrades availlable. front pivot block, bearing carriers, etc... The stock MF2 has an aluminum rear pivot block ( well the rear part anyway).

Are those aluminum upgrades just for look of if they have any benefits over the stock graphite parts? Thinking of buying a few upgrades (I want durability), but if the only benefit is look, then I'll save $$ and eventually buy a better motor package...

Thank you

I think that the aluminum bearing carriers would be a good investment because I always break those.

graphite is lighter and aluminum is really heavy. I would stick with the graphite parts until you break em.
