Slipper clutch ruining my fun :-(
...at least I *think* the slipper clutch is my problem?
I finally finished putting together my SB Sport Pro buggy (4wd) and it drives like crap. The first time I took it out, the clutch would slip 100% of the time, and I couldn't even get close to hooking up full throttle. The motor would spin widly, but the car wouldn't really go anywhere in a hurry. Moreover, when I do "floor it" then the buggy would vere to one side.
So, I brought the buggy inside, tightened the clutch (as much as I could) and the it still slips?!
What in the world is going on here??? Are the diff's the problem??

RE: Slipper clutch ruining my fun :-(
Ahhh, thanks for the push in the right direction!
I'm gonna tighten the diffs (yup, they're ball-type diffs) and see if that does it.
Thanks a million guys [sm=cool.gif]
