Hey disk...glad to see you got your real car back. I've never owned a real "hot rod" before but a buddy of mine did and it was a lot of fun to run around in.

I do have an RC question. I'm looking through some of my extra stuff and I'm going to start e-baying some of the stuff that I don't think I will ever use. However some of it is not marked and I'm not sure what they would go on. I have only run associated cars and trucks. I have these wheels and tires that look like they would go on some sort of "monster truck" type of RC vehicle, but I'm not sure what brand. The wheels are marked "HPI" but the tires do not have a brand on them. Also the two rear wheels have a "HEX" type mount to them. Any one got and more information on these for me?

Thanks

looks like some aftermarket hpi rims

cant really id the wheels (almost look like black foot tires)
the hpi rims would have came with an adtpor set for the rears that would fit most rc cars

Hey thanks guys. The rims have not been dyed. That is the original color. I'm not sure how much I can get for this used set but they need to go. I really just need to make enough to buy a new set of tires for my RC10T.

looking for some help wih a Vintage RC on road car.
Can any one help with this?

the only markings i can find say JRL on the botom of the car and also the remote.

The car it's self is a 57 chevy. used to be red with some flame on the side of it also has a bug cather on the top of the hood that is a crew on not threw the hood.

has the old style crager wheels under it.

it is a ele car. the issue im having is trying to figure out what the bat. pack should be for it. I would like to find one to see if this motor is good or not.

Can anyone tell me how to test this with out damageing the motor?
I have other cars here with good power sup;yes but none fit the plug in this car.

So any help would be nice.

Belive it was sold threw sears in the late70's- 80's i know i remeber seeing them with a red one and a black one in thier book but i cant tell you any more about it .

All help and sugestions are welcome
Thax a head of time

why cant you go over 60? i have put a bunch of motors together and can tell you i have never held back on them and i have a few that are still going for more then 100.00 miles on them and a coupel with less then that.

you can run it over 60 just becareful how you do it and dont go one constant speed with it for the first 500.

go up to 60 then drop to 55 then go to 70 etc.... this is setting the rings in it. this all it dose for you to run it like this.

but if you baby it now then when you do get on it youhave a better chance to tear it up.

breKk it in like you plan to drive it.
