RE: has anybody had this car
Those people dont have a clue . first they say comes with 1800 battery pack then say 1700 battery also they claim 40 mph no way .also claim 550 type motor ethere it is or it is not 550 . then they say it is a powerfull rc 550 motor . I don't have the car but i would not buy it . Just because the add says diffrent things about the car.

How do they get away with the outright lies? 40 mph? In their dreams maybe. I would stay away from any car that they have lie about it to sell it.

we ought to buy a bunch of these and race each other, that way we can prove our skills! that is of course if we trust the quality control and tolerances that they come out with....

I would hate to try and "race" that thing, I would probably get beat by a passing snail (lol). Do as some have said and buy a 'real' hobby grade car, you'll be much happier.

The other problem with it where are you going to find replacement parts for it? What happens when you brake something? You are totally out of luck unless you have mill at home and you can fabricate your own parts. I have a friend who purchase a car off of Ebay and it was brand new in the box I forget what company it was but he wrecked it the second day and could never get parts. He gave it to me and I stripped it down to see if I could use anything. I ended up with a cheap nitro motor and a box of junk. Stay away from anything that is not supported my a major company that you can find replacement parts for.

i would stay clear of those kinda cars. hobby level cars are just generally easier to build on and parts are alot easier to find. i also dont see any ajustable links on there for camber, caster, toe, etc. for that price, i would reccomend an evader bx. i know it would be a little bit more (about $50) but i promise it would be a hell of alot easier to deal with in the long run.

I got the buggy and the truck. I upgraded ball bearings on both, and they bacame faster and battery last a little longer. There are some websites that sell parts for these from hong kong and Denmark, apperantly these are very popular over there, even in australia. There are a couple of sellers in Ebay that sell stuff for these. Good vehicles for the price, and they come RTR, unlike the Tamiya that you have to build and then paint, Radio, etc...
