Tamiya needs to bring back some more of those pack-in bead lock style tires.
Those are on the bruiser too and they work great. Plus, you can replace tires without buying new wheels everytime.

Yeah, they work great esp. for non-racing application.. it adds some unspung weight / rotational mass, but not critical for most people anyway..

LOL, I also got a Futaba MC230CR, a MC330CR, a LRP AI Runner Plus, 2 LRP AI Digital, and my BL setups... (I think that's all... ha!)
Will have another TEU-101 when I get a Suzuki Swift.. ha!

man, i cant stand those bloody tamiya ESC's they annoy me so much to set up, i'd much rather spend the extra money and get a mtroniks

Tamiya TEU-101 is a pretty good ESC.. it is rated up to 60A, I think.. so the 27T rating is WAY underrated...

No.. Tamiya makes very low turn motors too.. they have higher end ESC for those...

But of course, the basic's still the same.. put the oil in and pump it a few times and let it sit for awhile to get the bubble out of the oil...

This is the tool to push the sealing piston into the cylinder..
Instead of using the newer rubber seal, this uses a rubber sealed metal piston with a screw hole in the middle.. pushes it in, let the oil out a little bit, clean that off, put the screw on, then put a spring on the other end.. close the cap..
Yes, newer shocks are easier to build..
