Surprisingly, the old old design actually holds the SxS pack of the biggest cells available!!

By the way, the Hornet and Lunchbox share many many components.. front suspension, tranny (with different gear ratio by using a small pinion), etc.

Front suspension complete with friction shocks..

Someone should sell a shock tower so one can mount some oil shocks (like Lunchbox)..

Taniya servo saver there isn't the best but the buggy front tires are pretty tiny.. should work okay...

The steering links are a little bit too long as you can't adjust it to have a slight toe out..

No big deal.. that's easy to fix, though.. if one really wants to..

Then paint the body.. (hmm, black? red? silver? blue? hmm..)

But then, tomorrow I should fix up the TXT.. ha!! Plenty of projects to keep me busy, I guess!!

Hey LB, is there still that weak point (only a thin part of plastic) on the front left of the chassis? where the hole for the servo arms etc is.

Btw, i wondered if you've seen this... (look closely at the Hornet)
