not a direct hit...but a direct fit (right under the big car tire, and the clod wheel explodes[:@][:@][:@])

Are their any major differences between the original Clodbuster and the new Super Clodbuster? I recently picked up a NIB vintage Clod, but that is going to immediate shelf queen duty. However, I would also like to get a reproduction Clod and I'm wondering if their different at all than the originals. Just curious.

-New grill (no more bowtie logo)
-New tailgate (same as above)
-Chrome wheels (from white)
-Blue bumpers, shocks, link ends, and misc suspension parts (from red)
-Super Clod includes an additional faux engine for the hood
-New decals
All parts are interchangeable!

So it's exactly the same. It's just not a Chevy anymore and is blue. Tight!!! I bet GM wishes they still had licensing money coming from Tamiya!!!!LOL!

RE: Super Clod Buster Build-up Thread
I cant seem to find a clod buster forum so i am going to ask here my grandpa gave me a clodbuster before he passed away and it needs a couple things. It seems to be missing something to mount tho the motors because they just twist the suspension up and down was there a brace that went from the motor to the frame or something? Can you get replacement bodies and tires on of the tires is shot (ripped). I would like to get it going and looking good and put it up just because he gave it to me before he passed away. It still runs just the motors move all over the place one of the axle links mounts at the frame has ripped out so i will have to jb weld it unless they make frames to?

Do you have the manual for Clod?
You can go get it here, in PDF form:
http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=58321
You can then see what parts are missing..
I'd also recommend that you post some pics here and people should be able to help you..
Good luck!

Back from another hiatus.....
I'm turning my attention now to my Super Clodbuster. I like the look of a stock clod, and I'm curious: has anyone on here ever used the stock TXT chassis plates and bolted the rest of the clodbuster parts to it? If so, what all is involved?

Here is my Clod Build. Custom 4 link chassis (M&L), T-Maxx Shocks, Traxxas EVX ESC, Titan 550 motors and Radioshack Hummer Body with lights. I still have to put on the body mounts and also paint the wheels black.

How did you rotate the rotation of one of the Titan motor? (I think they have advanced timing... ?)
