Nice. Why don't you try cutting out some holes in the upper deck to make it lighter...And why do you have a rear bumper?

made the rear bumper as when i have been using the cars myself an other forum members have bumped in 2 each other causing me to split the rear of my shell , the bumper just helps stop the shell flexing too much , as for the holes i am considering cutting some but to be honest it already weighs about the same as the carbon upper deck

looks really good mate, better now that its polished. If your going to cut any holes you should engrave or cut TT 01 in to it, it'll look cool. Look forward to seeing if it stiffens the ride up a bit.

the rear bumper is a good idea, i thought about it the other night, having noticed that its the nearly the same as the front.

I don't run a rear bumper at all, I even cut off the mounts

Nice brace, personally I'd go for the carbon fibre as I love the stuff (mainly the look), but yours looks good too.

bigmik , i have installed the rear bumper as my first shell the dtm merc i was sold the wrong paint for it and it wrecked the shell (which i very slowly stripped with brake fluid ) i replacedit with a wrc 03 focus shell , which on its first outing ended up split in four places just racing round a local car park , so the rear bumper stops as much deflection in the rear , the merc went from looking like pi1 to looking like pic2

is anybody running a tt-01 with full alloy hop ups , i am asking because i want to know which are the ones worth having and make a differance to how the car handles and how it affects durability (in the event of a crash with the alloy parts being stronger do they wreck mounting point etc on the chassis ) thanks in advance for any replys

you'd be wasting your money if you hopped up your TT01 unless all you want is bling; however, 2 things are needed. Aluminum proller shaft and ball bearings. Anything else would be a waste. Go for a tb02 or a ta05 if you want to upgrade.

andrew can i ask why you dont think the tt01 is worth hopping up ? . i dont like belt driven (ta05 etc ) chassis i prefer shaft driven , i have the alloy prop , an a full set of bearings , plus a few other items and the tt chassis is fine

If your just after fun driving on the road the TT-01 is fine, except for racing it doesn't have the quality or more expensive kits (as expected for the price).

And with the money you will need to poor into it, you would be better buying a different kit with racing possibilities out of the box.

Just something to consider, but all means hop-up the TT-01 if you want. I'd do for alloy dog-bones, alloy steering, carbon upper brace, alloy servo mounts, alloy motor mount and make sure you gear it right.
