Default Your Favorite Charger

I put this up to see what everybody elses opinion is. My favorite charger is the SuperBrain 989 because of its charging capabilities. Its a perfect match for my upcoming IB4200 WC 7cells packs and it works great with the E-maxx. Now lets hear your opinion.

I like the super nova 250s. all u have to do is press start and it will start charging. It will control how many volts the battery can hold and all that stuff.

ICE! Even though it needs its own power supply, it has many features and it's very versatile.

That being said, I want to use [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXMGS7&P=7]this[/link] to charge LiPo's but I don't know what balancing adapter it uses. What's the name of the balance adapter that this balancer uses?

[link=http://www.b-p-p.com/proddetail.php?prod=e_EOS_1210i]Hyperion ESO1210i[/link] with a [link=http://www.b-p-p.com/proddetail.php?prod=2_LBA10]Hyperion LBA10[/link] balancer for all of my Lipo pack. The EOS1210i can charge 12S lipos, 12 A123 Lion cells, or charge up to 30NIMH cells at up to 10A. I also like my MRC977 becuase it will charge two IB4200 7 cell packs at 5A each in under 1 hour for my E-Maxx.

MRC 977. for $95.99 you get the charger AND a power supply. the included PS puts out 10A at almost 14V and can power other things because it has seperate output terminals. both the PS and charger are fan cooled. considering that it can charge TWO batteries simultaneously, its pretty tough to beat. charge rates are adj from .4A to 5A [2.5A for 2S LiPo - 3A for 3S LiPo] it'll charge two batts simultaneously no matter what type of batt it is ex: LiPo on one output and NiMh on second output. i use it to charge my SC 3000,3300,3700. AA 2500 TX pack, and my 2s and 3S LiPo. worthy of mention. LiPo function works flawlessly albeit slow. at 3A max in LiPo mode it takes a little over 1 hour to charge up my 3200 pack. still an EXCELLENT charger for the money. i love mine. fyi if you are pushing 8 amps through it, it'll get hot. have a fan around.

I have been looking at the IntelliPeak Ice, I like the features of setting up charge cycles for different battery packs, it has the capabilities of charging low enough on the amps to accomodate some of my reciever packs + it will charge everything out there - that I know of. I do have a question, besides the $80 price differenc & the color, what is different about the Team Cheackpoint?

For the money and the amount of packs we go through the MRC 977 is a great bit of kit. For us being able to charge two packs is a must.

The TC1030 is, in essence, the same as the ICE except the TC1030 has a discharge up to 30 amps, a backlit screen, a 4 step charging option which basically packs the batteries full of juice in a very short time w/o overheating, and a few new motor testing options.
