I am doing misbehavin-rc's trick to streinghten my stock shocks. found here http://www.misbehavin-rc.com/pit-lan...hen-shocks.asp . it says to remove the eyelet to put on that fuel tubing... is the eyelet the think on the bottom? mine is hard to come off? do i hold the shaft with pliers and twist?

Please tell me if you don't think this upgrade is even worth it.. thanks

i don't know, i rember i read somewhere to replace your shock shaft it was scratched.. i think i would scratch it if I held onto it with pliers[&:]....

as long as u do it on the bottom part of the shaft-that doesnt go inside the body your fine

Wrap the pliers with a few layers of electrical tape and away you go.

you can add an even longer peice of fuel tubing to prevent your truck from bottoming out. This allows you to run thinner shock oil for better off road handling, and you can still jump without the fear of breaking your truck.
