Please recommend me a 11.1v 3s lipo battery
Alright guys I have a 5700 MM system and i am looking into getting a 3s battery for it.
It going to be used in a XXX-T
I would like to see run times in the 15-20+ min.
I already have a maxamps 2s 6000 and i am pleased with it
Is this a good company or should i try something new?
Thanks for all the help!!

Budget its under 200
Budget its under 200
Maxamps 3s 5000 mah 20C lipo $140
I run that same pack in my brushless E-Maxx (Feigao 7XL, ~28+ mph, wheelie galore) and Rustler (Feigao 9L, ~35+ mph, wheelie machine). Great bang for the buck, weighs LESS than a 6-cell IB4200 (12 oz vs. 16 oz) and 4 times the potential power. I get 20 minute run times in both my trucks.

As an alternative....
http://www.b-p-p.com/proddetail.php?prod=m_5350
From B-P-P so you get free shipping. At $135 for 5350mah 3S this is brilliant value in my opinion.
And it is HYPERION!

That Hyperion 5350 mah is rated for 16C discharge; only good for 85 amps constant, while the Maxamps 5000 (20C constant discharge) is good for 100 amps constant...

18C
96A Continuous
144A Burst
"Hyperion LiteStorm 5350 LCX
Hyperion 5350 LCX 18C-27C 96Amp Continuous, 144amp Burst Li-poly packs" Off the B-P-P Website
Right at the limit of what the MM ESC can handle (100A). And it is STILL Hyperion. Any one of my Hyperion packs have consistently out performed my similarly rated Max Amp packs. Lasted much better too.
But hey, that is just my preference. Either battery would have more than enough power for your system.
That said, Max Amps would probably be my second choice!

Oh jeeze now i have to choose
they also offer a 5000 with 100amp continous 150amp burst and 20C discharge. But its like 185$
What performance differences would i see between a lipo with 16C/18C and one with 20C???

The one with a higher C rating an discharge at higher amps if needed. So the Maxamps 20C 3s 5000 I pointed to can do 100 amps constant if the motor pulls that much. Also, it is like ~$140, which one are you looking at that is US $185?

RE: Please recommend me a 11.1v 3s lipo battery
There's some guys running them over @ e-savage forums with nothing but great stuff to say.
A 4900mAh @ 25/50c would run at 122.5 amps constant, 245 amp burst. 30/60c 5000 would run at 150 amps constant, 300amp burst [X(]! Nue is a pretty up and up company, I doubt they'd overrate any packs they're selling by much if anything. Cheaper than anything else out there,75 and looking better on paper. So far so good with all user reviews as well.

I run a MaxAmps 3s2p 6000mah lipo in my XXX-T with a MM5700. The thing is blazing fast. I actually prefer to run a 6 cell IB4200 pack. The car is much easier to control on the 7.2nimh pack. The only problem I ran into with the big lipo was that the battery would not fit under the stock battery strap. I just made a new strap out of some lexan and use some velcro straps just to be safe. I have also had good luck with Flight Power and Thunder Power lipos in my helicopters. Here are a couple of pics of my XXX-T with the MaxAmps 3s lipo. Not the fastest car ever, but not to bad considering it was done with those giant Masher 2k tires on it. I could have gotten some more speed out of it but that was the largest pinion I had in the box. Have fun~

Like I said, either the Max Amp or the hyperion would be a great choice. That said, I would never say anything against Neu. I had a quick look and the prices seem very very reasonable.
As a rule of thumb, the higher the C rating the better the cell.

RE: Please recommend me a 11.1v 3s lipo battery
I just got the MaxAmps 3s - 5000mah 11.1v with a Hyperion EOS0606i charger and I am using this lipo in my XXX-T with 13/86 pinion/spur off of a MambaMax 5700 and it is just way too crazy fast and uncontrollable....too much wheelies and flip overs from wheelies that it gets frustrating to just run over and flip it back over....I want to be able to drive my XXX-T and not constantly flip it back over on its wheels.
I have tried different Mamba settings and I still have to adjust the throttle on my controller to tame it down so that I can handle it.
It's great for ****s and giggles but I next time I am just gonna for a MaxAmps 7.2v 2s lipo at 6000mah or higher.
I agree with BoyToys, I too have a 6-cell IB 4200 and it is much more racer controllable.

I mean? Why bother? I would rather get the 5000mah 20C?
