Default What is this called?

I was looking at my bearings because i was going to get new ones soon. i have a traxxas xl-5 with a vxl motor and the same bearings it came with stock. so i was wondering what this was. i looked in the exploaded views and i found out it's just a washer thing. do i need to replace this? or just bearings? thanks. here are the pics.

Its a traxxas fiber washer- http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXJJ88&P=7
Its to keep the stub axles from having to much slack and reaking havoc on your bushings/bearings.

You shouldnt have to ever replace them if you dont lose them.

You will still need the washer. It keeps the stub axle from wobbleing so much that it kills the bearings/bushings.

u might be able to make them out of something, i used small o-rings on my rustler so they squished when i tightened the wheel on and kept everything snug

might be risky. how long will it be until you get new ones? it also depends on how well they fit.
