Brushless T3
I have a T3 that I barley used years ago. I had some old motors, that were good in there day, but who knows now, I went nitro for years. Anyway, for the heck of it, I bought a new Venom 3800 battery and took it out, and I was impressed with the runtime compared to what I had years ago. So I just put in a used GTB 6.5 setup with the same battery, and I was unimpressed with the difference. When I put a mamba in my rc18, I was blown away. Is the setup I have just not that fast, or is the battery holding me back?

I got the instructions with the setup, and it is only good for 4 to 6 cells. I thought I should be able to run at least a 7 cell.

RE: Brushless T3
I have the recommended gearing to start. But it seems like a good balance of power and top end. If I change the gearing, it seems like I will lose one or the other too much. Maybe, my old motors and esc are not as bad as I thought. Don't get me wrong, it was a improvement over what I had, just not that much. I traded a brushless, modded rc18 fot the system, and I feel like it just wasn't worth it.
