I stripped my main differential gear in my xl-5 stampede with a vxl. So now I will have an all steel transmission...what lube I should use. When I replaced my idler I used traxxas white silicone lube rather then the traxxas grease b/c it is thicker. Should I use this again or is there something better? Also, should I use the same type of lube in the internal of the main differential gear for the sun and planetary gears?

you should use diff oil inside the diff.

so the same white lithium lube outside the main diff and then diff oil inside the main diff?

The best lube I've used is AE Stealth Black lube.
