Steering Servo Gears stripped - Why?
Hi,
My lad has a stadium Raider truck. Only used it 10 - 15 times.
The truck started steering strange. One of the gears in the steering servo has lost some teeth, is this normal? and what would cause it to happen?
Can you buy the gears or will I have to buy a new servo?
Servo is hitec HS-300 standard.
Many thanks
Paul

RE: Steering Servo Gears stripped - Why?
It is not at all uncommon for the gears in those cheap servos to selfdestruct after a few hard knocks.
Yes, a new set of # 56325 gears will run you about $10
(there is even one listed by an Australian dealer on ebay)
