I think the aluminum casters are different. As you can see in the pic my screw isn't even close. I hope we can figure it out.

Yes it is. They are offset compared to the stock caster blocks. The arms are going on my nitro firestorm that has hot racing caster blocks that are not offset. Stock arms are going back on the e-firestorm.

My truck and my Dad's truck now he the same problem and I think it might be the same problem Red was facing. The truck drive true and straight and after a good run down the street it comes back pulling. It always seems to be to the left (driver's side of the truck). It will go away after a few turn back and forth. I have a camber gauge and check that the camber is the same from side to side. The servo savers seem tight and the bell cranks both have ball bearings in them and seem to be in good condition. I am guessing that it is having trouble centering under load. That is why the problem will correct itself when it is not under load? Would a bigger badder servo help? I need help from the RC Gods.
Red did you ever figure this out? I know you tried a new servo. Again it seems weird both trucks do it....

Kinda thinking about joining the local club. $100 for a year and $58 for AMA insurance. so $158 total...You can use the track as much as you want but, it is outdoors and this is Montana so, I am thinking you only get 3, 4 maybe 5 months of good weather to use it. Here is the track

What do you think?

I have been looking at the linkage...but both trucks do it. It is so weird. The bell crank seems tight and not sloppy or is the plastic flexing? This is driving me crazy..haha If it were a linkage problem wouldn't it be more consistent? hummm

You might be on to something, If you put it up on the stand and watch it turn back and forth you do see some flex by the servo saver. Maybe the aluminum bell crank will fix this.

The stock bellcrank should work, though. Are you sure its not electronic?

I put the RPM arms on my nitro storm and went back to the stockers. I also put on a new set of dirt works. The gladiators that came off were beyond worn out.

I only had the storm out once this week. The weather has been good and I've been driving a lot of nitro.
It looks like rain here for the next three days.

I was thinking of getting an upgraded servo but, Red tried that to no avail....I will spend money to fix the problem but, I don't want to buy 1 of everything haha
Nitro- glad you got to use those arms on something

I have a servo in mind, and have been watching the aluminum bell crank. Not sure what way to go..I was waiting for you (Red) to figure out my problem haha Maybe by replacing and upgrading everything the problem will go away....

I hear you, Must be slop in the bell crank that shows up with alot of use, I have over 200 runs on mine.On my fourth set of tires, third set of drive cups. I will try a small video of what mine does.

Check the shims in the suspension on the side it pulls, It could be the plasitc shims are worn or squished and giving too much slack when its rolling. When I changed my knuckles and c-hubs I saw that mine were indented and cracked, and one on the right was missing.

The Hotracing parts are made for the MT thats why the clearance is different.

good point above, I did a vid its hard to see but you can see that the servo centers fine(shown by white line on servo) but when i zoom in on the one tire you can see it centers good coming from the left but its off abit coming back from the right. I think it could be a slop in all the front end parts adding up.

If it were all the slop adding up in the system wouldn't the servo return to the right position every time? The white lines not lining up properly tells me the problem is from the servo and the slop must not be that bad since the 1-2mm it doesn't centre to at the servo is propagated right through to the wheel. Could the servo arm be worn and sliding on the splines of the servo?

The white line is returning to the same spot every time( i may have been off a bit when i but it on) its the tire not returning to the same spot.

If the shims in the front were missing or smashed wouldn't the steering problem be more consistent? I just went through both of these trucks and all the shims were there and looked good. Can the servo saver be too tight? I did have to tighten both of these recently....My problem looks pretty much like yours Red. I don't think it is the splines of the servo because Red replaced his...I like all the input.

I see its returning now, it does look a little off in the video. A steering kit is less than 10 bucks.

I may take the whole front end apart and see what I can do to tighten her up.

I don't remember, but is there any slop between the ball cup and ball stud?

Maybe just get all new parts for the whole front end, lol using upgrades
