RE: Tamiya Pajero-Collective Build

On my setup ive put F350 shocks on the rear which measure 95mm but they are soft and compress a bit once installed but allow for allot of droop in the rear.. Ive kept the stock shocks on the front but i put a spacer of about 3mm at the top mount on the chassis to drop the shock down after notching the front A arm to allow the C hub to not bottom out and restricting the travel, i have a nice soft front end which gets full up travel with the stock springs.

Yeah I'd be interested in knowing what an ideal "lift" setup would be for both the front and rear. I have a Pajero coming in the mail!

RE: Tamiya Pajero-Collective Build
Finally got a bit of snow in the UK, sadly on my first day back at work after the holidays. Took the Pajero out though and had some fun, although it was too dark to take pictures.
Did take a few when I got in...

Does the Pajero need a decent sized Servo for the steering or will any basic Futaba S3003/4 work? Would you want to get something beefier if you wanted to do rock climbing with it??

RE: Tamiya Pajero-Collective Build
If I'm planning on going with the basic two tone paint job for the Pajero (say Blue with Silver Trim) should I paint everything Blue first and then mask off the trim later to be sprayed Silver?
Does anyone know the recommended colors that Tamiya lists for this re-release kit? I want to make sure I have the paint since my kit is in transit.
thanks

It doesn't come with any. You have to paint them on if you want them.
