I vote black or gray powder coat. That would look really sweet.

Well I decided to do a bit of an update on the Jato and decided not to go for the 100mph.. I had everything fine but the MM ran soo hot it melted the Positive lead off of the board...So I decided to just turn it into a all out fun basher.. Going to get 1/8 buggy tires and a 4s lipo for it and my slash...Along with my 3s..Also took the wing and the wheelie bar off of my E-savage (since im not running it anymore ESC & Motor in slash ) and put it ion the jato.. I also plan on getting some longer shocks for the E-jato... Might use the slash shocks.. Should be good.

Here is my rustler so far. Waiting for a chassis to come it [:@]. Still need front aluminum casters and rear aluminum bearing carriers to finish off the upgrades. Got an RPM rear shock tower for it yesterday.

Looks fimilar.. I don't think you need mod 1 gears.. Stick with what you have.. I have ran 48 pitch on a system way more powerfull then yours and 48 pitch is fine.. no need

Here is yet another update on the Tru-Tube XL-5 Stampede chassis. about the only thing left is to figure out what coating/color for it. The "California Rake" is built into the chassis and I also trimmed the body mounts a little. This body is a spare one I had and I decided to trim it a little. Let me know what you think.

Can't order my spur gear today, the boss says I have spent enough on RC lately and that I can maybe order it tomorrow.... doesn't make much sense, but that's what she said.... and if I don't listen, I will be in the dog house....

I am not a noob driver I just choose to drive my trucks to the limits most of the time. I like to see what they can do unless it is not my truck or i can no longer buy parts for it. To be completely honest, i think the stampede chassis is weak. I hit a bump on my sidewalk at about 30 and the thing flew in to 2 pieces lol. I have hit that jump so many time and nothing, but the first time with a new chassis and it was done. However i did have a chassis last over a year. It is all luck.

Getting the chassis wednesday I found out. I soldered the motor bullets up today and will install the motor and the rest of the little things i have to do before i get the chassis. Then on wednesday hoping for a test run. If i break that chassis I am going flm for sure.

As far as the stocker chassis on the Pede breaking, I've heard both sides and mine hasn't tweaked at all, either of them. I will get to see what this new chassis does on Wednesday, hopefully.

Heres mine. I have hit, rolled and fliped over almost anything you can imagine. Little light grit sand paper and it looks like new. Most parts were bought but I also made about a dozen of them. I also installed super bright led lights ( not the ones you buy in the hobby stores ), they light up like 2 bright flash lights. Works good for driving at night.

My Maxx will be up and running soon, i have 2 8cell nimh packs coming, along with my MM and BEC from krawlin... And just bought a 8xl w/ rcm heatsink clamp for 40 bux off a guy on rc-monster..

should be great..

Yesterday i ran it on the MMM 2200 combo, wayy to much power for this pinion- kept throwing the setscrew out the pinion, then shooting the pinion out of the front of the truck. gotta love that.

...also have 2 18t pinions, a 20, and a 23 in the mail.

leaving for manchester New hampshire tommrow for a robotics trip.
