I thought VW killed anyone's chance at making another bug body. I guess they realized it was better to have them around... free advertising.

They did but it looks like Proline has a signed agreement with them now.

The Baja Bug is back with the same style, quality, and features as it had the first time around and is now officially licensed by Volkswagen®.

Yea, look on Losi's website. All thier VW's dont have a body on them.

Back on topic....

[:'(] I never liked Proline anything. I dont see alot of paint jobs that would work well on those bodies though. Does anybody know if JConcepts has bodies for those MTs?

Noo......Only the cars alone I have are mostly Losi. The electrics and engines are all aftermarket brands. The rest of the cars I have I dont even bother putting them in my sig because they are such low quality. You have to admit though, Proline tires arent that good at all.

I'm not sure if VW actually sued Losi over this or if they just got them to stop producing the body, but they did the same thing to just about everybody making copies of the body without rights. Its not just Losi.
