RE: TANK!!!
Kid, dont hop stuff up if you dont need to just because you think its cool. Learn about what the different parts of your RC car do, understand the vehicle, get exprienced driving it, and then reinforce whatever you feel needs to be reinforced.

RE: TANK!!!
Those rear shock towers you linked to in your first post will NOT fit an electric Rustler. Those are made for the Nitro trucks and don't attach the same way. If you look, they screw in from the front into the truck, while your e. Rustler's rear shock tower screws in from above into the chassis/transmission case.
Get the RPM shock towers if you must. Though I have not broken 1 stock plastic shock tower in 4 years of running/crashing/jumping my Rustler and Bandit. They are too flexible and just bend rather than break. ;) As suggested, RPM front bumPer, maybe RPM front and/or rear a-arms (never broke mine, except the hinge area when crashing into a pole, which will break any plastic arm). I would suggest the aluminum shock caps for your stock shocks. The plastic ones can leak and can pop off after a hard landing, as mine have at least once, or break off the top section where the screw goes in from landing hard upside down... |
RE: TANK!!!
Yeah Do basic mods to the truck and uprage others when they break.
