Remy, Remy, remy [:'(][:@][&:]lol, this sunday there is a trophy race in brooklyn also, but i'll have to see whether i'm going to prospeed or there, I'm probably going to brooklyn being that is a good 1/2 hour from manhattan. I alsohave to shut some more people up. Remy is coming to bruckner on friday or saturday those r the days I work. I may have to sell my r40 because i need a legal engine. There going to tech cars as soon as they get the new drivers stand at Floyd, and my pockets are empty. I just don't know what to do any more. [:@][][X(] Ill come up with something though.

In my Kyosho as you can see in my past pictures I was running the JP, in the R40 I always ran the top 3 port turbo which is cooked now. Don't worry everybody knows, Remy's seen my car in person.

That jp 5 port put 500 more dollars down the hole, to get the bang for you buck get the OS TZ three port. The JP was the fastest motor i have ever used though, for the power you get, the price is right. TZ is also great for only 230

Hey D how did you fit the solid rear axle in the R40? Did you need to buy any other parts or so? If you have any pics that'd be appreciated.

Listen sad, DON'T PUT THAT DAMN HAUNTED PEICE IN YOUR CAR. Unless your plannig on going to the worlds biggest track. Puting that in will need drastic setup changes, drastic tire and out drive wear, and loss in rear steering. If you put in the front then no prob, the solid axle comes with everything needed. [>:][:@][:'(][X(][&o][:-] you basically use the stock shafts that go through the outdrives inside the diff, and then insert the long pin that comes with the axle through the hole in the center, that will lock up the diff. the axle comes with everything needed. but whatever you do don'y put it in the rear.

Thxn for the advice. I easily ran with remy and his stock mtx4 vs my stock r40. He ran the RB x12 i ran the OS .12TR. Byrons 30% on myside and Odonnel 30% on his. He does have a slightly lighter car and taller ratio which is why he won on the str8s. Plus the X12 is makin a bit more power.

Sounds good, Bruckners getting the new novarossi 12's in tomarrow. It's the +35's .12 counter part. You need that, then you can show Remy up any day, plus it's legal with the power of a 5 port. I'm telling you'll be dealing with some serious power. You should stop by once in a while.

Also OS's new TZ speed tuned. Choose one bro im telling you this is the way to go. both are 3 ports

I dusted that guy who was running 8th at Floyds track with a 35 plus, but I think he was probably on the 9 or 10th tank of break in. Regardless the other guys weren't that much faster that my box stock MRX4 setup. Jaime has a modified OS .12TZ motor for a good price so I said for the moment I'll snag that up. I will definately keep the R40, but when I make more $$$ I'm goin for a diff touring car.

Edit*

Dam nearly 6 bones for that thing? Naw man...I'd rather the EB mods .12 or stay with this modded tz I'm gettin.

EB mods is a bull motor don't even worry about that. The 35 plus is probably one of the fastest non modified motors out there now. Beleive when ever you come to the new track i'll show you some guys with the engine. the new Novarossi +12 should be the usual 299.99, but if you got a deal on the TZ go with it.

Yeah come to think of it I watched Mikey Mikes MTx4 with EB mods .12tz and my friends Rody V12 was a heck lot faster...mainly due to the fact that we had a taller gear ration on the HPIs LW 2speed. Regardless on a shorter ratio the V12 425 roar version is still flat out Ffasstttt...but it's apita to tune. Hehe sry correction on the price I was lookin at the .21s...heheh. I'm gonna slap another used R40 into the bag saturday as it's comin with lw chassis, graphite towers n stuff for $100. I may buy the LW 2speed as well at my other lhs for kicks since I'd want spares.

If you ever find another used r40 for that price give me a holla.[:-] "EB mods" mods there motors but not nearly as vital as Rody Roem does RB'S, EB won't even touch Novarossis, and try to modify them. One of the guys at the shop called them, and whoever picked up hung up once he said novarossi to the guy at EB.

Yup. Some Guys are just to fake these days. Cant wait for the race this weekend as you can probably tell i've been itching just look at the events calender for RCU. You and Remy need to hurry up and get out to floyd, instead of buying that spare R40, you should buy a personal transponder. Remy's getting his for next week. And I just got out of school. Your missing out.[&o][:'(]LOL. I suggest you wait to get the light weight 2 speed and chassis. People think that the light weight chassis better, but you know what it is. Those cut out's on the chassis allow more flex which would allow more grip seemingly. But on some tracks more flex is not that good. Thats why hara used the stock chassis to win the nats in 03. To much grip for the aftermarket chassis on the track he was on. Just a pointer, U guys really need to get out there[]

Oh no the R40 has that on there but hey its for $100 with few other upgrades so I said heck ill use it. My friend has an R40 going for $500, but it has:

CF towers
Alum hex
alum brace
graphite side brace
LW 2speed
Rody V12 roar 425 engine
THS pipe
AI/futaba servos
LW chassis
Mugen shocks

and there some others on it. I'm only buying that R40 for spares so I'll get the transponder with my next pay since my new job pays every other week.

Dude I'm getting hooked up with the sirio evo 2 worlds edition. Haven't heard about that one have you? It's the modified that all the drivers used in there RRR's in the 2004 worlds in Brazil. The motor is legal and is supposed to be sick, can't wait to dayview it this sunday. You cant even buy it in the U.S. Plus it's a limited edition. If the Legendary Chester P says it's sick, It's sick, period.[:-][>:]

Ah I hear. There is an R40 goin for $220 with TR spec n body n parts. I may snag that cuz the R40 is my car for the moment. I like the big 3, but right now I can still do very well with an R40 providing no one hacks me. I got hacked with the mugen 8th on and still got a part busted. Even seen em sedans bust too. I'm not so sure on the LW 2speed. If I want it to really beat stock I'd have to go with the shorter gearing because even though it's lighter and spools up faster it's still a taller ratio. As for the LW chassis flexing, not sure sure. I recall hara using the LW chassis extensively since the stock chassis bends easier. You can pretty much bend the car and watch it flex. The LW chassis and alum side brace makes it really stiff..some guys didn't want that. I fix my car's rear with it bouncing up n down. Not sure if we may be able to go sunday since Remys' tx didnt come in. The seller didn't ship asap.[:@]

Hi everyone:
This time is in reference of the tire. I see the rear tire wear more quickly than the front tire. I can use the front tire to put in the rear tire. Only for emergency situation.
