I haven't driven it for a long time, but I still got it for sure.. still got the MM7700kv setup in it!
I have no intention of getting a TC5.. if I want a belt drive, I'd go w/ a X-Ray T2 or Tamiya TRF.... or a Schumacher Mi3...

Ahh, so the TC5 isnt that great compared to the other cars...
I heard the belts slip every once in a while...not good...[]
I like both the X-ray and the TRF, but the TRF has more aluminum hop ups already on the car right...

I am sure the TC5 is a fine car, but the motor seems to stick out too much, and I prefer to try out another brand, or stick w/ Tamiya, that's all...

Installed the velcro strap and the battery holder today.. figured I'd dust this one off and ran it a little bit..

Argh.. CF is hard to work with! Took awhile to drill the holes and counter-sink all the holes.. but you got to do it!

Since I am not running 2.4GHz RX on this one, I put a ferrite ring on the ESC cable near the plug to reduce high frequency interference...
Not like it was bad before or anything, but with the high power setup, it never hurts to do everything you can, ha!
Got the ferrite rings from CC.. nice! [sm=thumbs_up.gif]

So your back to running the TC4 eh? Nice!
Good choice on the Reedy Lipo pack also, the 7700kv mamba will be hungry for it.

Here is LB's former TC4 in it's most current form. I love this car best road car I have so far. Not saying much I only have three but this chassis is excellent! Glad I bought it off you LB!
The picture isn't that great I need to take some outdoors. I'll post more once I take some better ones. Hope you like it LB!

Wow, the old school GT-R shell looks great.. ! Are those fender stock? Or you somehow added those?! I like the flat black treatment there!! [sm=thumbs_up.gif]
How about some pics w/ the shell off?! Let's see the Novak ESC and motor in there.. !!

Thanks! The fenders are like that, I was going to extend them with some extra Poly but then it wouldn't be a runner shell anymore more for looks... I really like how this came out more pictures to come!

How about some of those fender flares that people sell for the Tundra?! Ha!! Wonder how that would look like on a touring car shell!

I really need a better camera... The red is metallic and you can't even make it out. [:'(] And a couple poor attempts to do an action shot...

Future plans not too sure. I have another shell to paint up maybe that.

Maybe turn / tilt the fan slightly so it is on top of the ESC heatsink some more?! Or the wires are on the way...
Looks good!! I should get some Ballastic 3S system!

Good idea I'll do that, didn't even think to tilt it more. [:@]
I would definitely recommend the 3s Novak I really like this combo, temps stay very cool. I clocked my temps after a 15 minute run and it was 110 at the motor and 115 at the ESC. My Castle gets so damn hot on 3s it isn't even funny.
