ORIGINAL: DirtBonez

Does anyone know if bodies made for the M-03 will fit the M-04. I am not sure if the wheel base is the same. I want to get the Alfa Romeo kit but I dont want to run the body so I was wondoring if a mini cooper body would fit...The old mini of course
no they won't, i was looking into this earlier, the wheelbase of the M-04 can't be shortened enough to fit the M-03 mini cooper shell on

Here's some pics of my M03 Mini Cooper with HPI's 31mm Vintage wheels w/6mm offset. I will take it for a test drive over the weekend to see how it handles compared to the regular size Tamiya Mini wheels. I like the fat look of the tires.[>:]
It's not much of a racer... but I think the wheels will work good for parking lot bashing.

A new body is in the works as we speak.

It really depends on the type of vehicle it's on. Fwd offers much more control over the vehicle though.

The shocks are the stock ones that came with the kit.

Go ahead and copy it... it runs real nice and the back end stays planted to the ground real good.

thanx...
but for fitting the big wheels, you have to cut from the body, right?...one more...if I put those 31mm on the back, but the 26mm (smaller, same model) on the front...what's your opinion...how the look will be?

some-one told me that 6.5 : 1 is about right for a 19t motor,

so i will order the 37, 38 and 39T pinions with a 112T spur
