Custom King Hauler/Peterbilt 359 Build
I haven't built a tamiya product in many years. My last one was the original Blackfoot. I've been into monster trucks and Nitro for a long time. I've always loved semi trucks, so i finally got one to build. I'm still waiting on some parts for it to come in, so i am just trying to get some of the painting and sub assemblies together right now.
I love opening the box!
My bearings came in so i got the axles and trans together!
Choppin the top!
The top is cut down. Time to glue it back together! More to come Later!

I got the trans together for the most part.
I hate E-clips!!
I glued some styrene strips to the inside of the roof to reinforce the seam. It still needs to be glued to the body though.

I managed to make a little headway on this one!
Got some of the parts primered and noticed that my body work needs work!
It took all day and 2 attempts but i managed to get my 2 piece drive shaft fabbed up!
There i still a lot of work to be done but heres a sneak peek at what she will look like!
Hope you enjoy the pics![sm=tongue_smile.gif]

RE: Custom King Hauler/Peterbilt 359 Build
I've been real busy with work lately so, i haven't had much time for the truck. I apologize to those that have been watching the build and are anxious to see the finished product.
I got the air cleaners painted.
I made a chassis cover. It is painted black now!
I have been having issues with the body filler where i cut out the head lights. So, i had to redo some of it. It still requires some final touches that will hopefully get done this weekend!
I made a wooden mold to make my rear fenders. I have never done this so hopefully it works out well. Otherwise, i may end up with a fiberglassed block of wood.[:'(]
Thanks for checkin out my build guys!
