Hi I just got afp a few day ago,"AWESOME".Just wondering which model to use, seems like the bretling is best but the hype 3d seems to respond alitte better but more sensitive and doesn't hang as well.Looking at the expo setup but don't know what numbers work best.Any pros out there who got this conquered.Replies would be appreciate.Any tips as mater a fact. Thanks for the reply.I haven't actually flow 3d yet but over the last couple of days I got the hover down pretty good.Don't know if its goin to actually be the same as in the field or not.I can get out of almost every bad situation now.I was wondering what percent u would give to the program with respect to 3d vs reality.....looking forward to ur reply.

If you add wind, add a little thermal and turn up the turbulance a bit it will give you a realistic hover.
Can i ask what plane you will atempt to hover, but dont toit close and either do i HIGH or a foot of the ground.
with a no wind ectc setup is give it a 50-75% realism

Depends totally on what plane you are flying. If you are flying a big extra or Cap, then yes it is probably pretty realistic. It is really hard to get the big extra and cap to fly like a 50 size model such as the Capiche 50. I have been tying to modify the Cap to get it to fly similar. It takes time and is very tricky.
While it may not be 100% real, it helps you learn the inputs for torque rolls and harrier rolls.

I run aerofly off my 9C I have alot of expo set up but that is a matter of prefrence.
work on hovering the hyper 3d its harder to do but when you get that down it it will make other (and real) planes easier.
I need to mess with the settings of the hype.. i think with a touch more rearward CG it might make it handle better.

sputknik,
I fly AFP primarily with my Fut 9C and sometimes with my 8U Super. Depending on the control surface, I usually start out with 25-30 Expo. I don't like it to soft around the middle, but I have a light touch anyway - a lot of years flying pattern. The only time I "bang the corners" is entry into some RADICAL 3D.
If I'm cycling batteries, I use my RF G2 Interlink (USB) and have AFP setup with both TX and Joystick (Interlink) for two plane action. You can setup the joystick setting in AFP somewhat and I use about 35% Expo then because the the Interlink is pretty tight.
Hope this helps.

For those of you using this with a 9C radio, how are you hooking it up? I was told by Ikarus it wouldn't connect to a 9C but he thought there were adapters available somewhere. I'd like to get this ordered for Christmas. Thanks.

Rajul, Merry Christmas to you too
Anyone that is flying the add on Extra 330S, in the CG set up screen, there are three entries? What the heck do they mean?
Is there a help file to explain some of the editable options for aerofly? Thanks_bob
