Default Help with Transmitter Intrerface

I am having trouble getting my Tx interface to work with FMS or real Rlight Classic
I got one from MileHighWings. My Dave brown controller works with both.
I have a Futaba 6A Radio and windows ME. ( non usb interface )
The sticks are all in wrong except for the throttle. ( Elevator moves rudder etc. )
I have read the online instructions from MileHighWings several times
Thanks in advance for any help

Fred..

Fred,

Have you contacted MileHighWings with your question?

From your description, it sounds like you haven't configured channel re-mapping in these sims.

In FMS, go to "Controls/Analog control..." menu and select "Joystick interface". Then click "Mapping/Calibration" button and the "Mapping/Calibration" window will pop-up. In this window, click "Calibrate" button and follow the instructions (move all sticks slowly, click Next, center sticks, click Finish). After that, you should be able to see bars moving as you move the sticks of your transmitter. The last remaining step (which you have probably missed) is cahnnel re-mapping: move each control one-by-one and notice the corresponding bar number, e.g., Rudder stick moves bar# 4. Then, for each channel, write the bar number to the Channel column in the Mapping area (left side of "Mapping/Calibration" window).

Similar, though a little less intuitive, re-mapping procedure should be performed for RealFlight.
If you e-mail MileHighWings, they will be happy to assist you with step-by-step instructions.

Keep 'em flying,
Boris

Thanks for the reply

In the mapping calibration I get very little bar movement. About 1/4 or less
with all bars. The bars are always on the bottom. This is also when
I have my sticks at mid point. So I cannot calibrate the Tx.
I will email MileHighWings,
