Aerofly pro problem
Hi All
Ive been flying afp for about 1 1/2 years now, and it is great. Until the other day.
My computer is a Celeron processor 1.8. it had 256 meg of DDR ram and the flt sim ran fantastic. Monday I put in 512 more megs or ram, and all of a sudden the sumulator became real choppy.
I defragged the hard drive today with no help, by the way I am running window's XP.
Thanks in advance
Bill

RE: Aerofly pro problem
I had trouble with choppy graphics on my hot gaming PC, I found there was a process hogging the CPU while I was trying to fly.
Bring up the CPU meter (ctrl - alt - delete, then click the middle tab)
Look for big spikes above 70% that don't coincide with anything you are doing.
If you do have an application hogging the CPU, you then have to find out what it is and disable it.

RE: Aerofly pro problem
You mentioned adding RAM. Did you leave in your other RAM chip? If so, try removing it. Also try reseating your new RAM module if that doesn't work. If all that doesn't work remove your new RAM and try your old RAM just to verify that it is the problem.
