Default Networking with G2

Does anybody else have trouble with being a host on G2

I set up a host situation, and my friends still don't seem
to be able to log on.

Any details setup pecuilarities that I might not know about??
I'm able to log on to some of the others, but my search engine doesn't seem
to work very well.

DO YOU NEED TO PUT A PORT NUMBER IN FOR IT TO WORK?

DO you always use the default no 6073?

Are you running a Firewall?
(ZoneAlarm,BlackIce,Linksys Router, and ect.)
If so you need to open ports 6073 and 2300 to 2400 and direct them to the box that is hosting.

I allways use default port.
If you use a differant port then others will not be able to connect, unless they know your IP and port.

I don't know if I'm running a firewall, but not to my knowledge.

How do you tell/find out?
