Default Virtual reality glasses for sims

How about someone developing virtual reality glasses for RC simulators? http://www.wirelessvideocameras.com/public/iglasses.htm

It would be nice to be able to see the runway along with everything else on the computer screen while flying on a sim.

Take care,
CCR

You can use those for the sim no problem. But what you are going to see in them you are looking at right now on your computer screen.

What I think what your talking about is a wrap around. That would take about 3-10 computer monitors to achieve. I have 3 computer monitors that I use for MS Flight Sim 2004. I have 3 computers running it too, all networked together. I get 180 degrees of visual left to right and about 100 degrees bottom to top. I have seen flight sims with as many as 15 flat panel monitors running on 15 computers.

Once you get used to the scenery's in any of the sims, you know where the runways are just from the position of the clouds, landscape and lighting.

Besides if you wear those goggle thingys you won't be able to see your wife or girlfriend sneaking up from behind you with the frying pan to whack you away from the sim? You know most of us spend half our lives at the field already!
