Considering pgrading to AFP, but was wondering if my Realflight transmitter box will be compatible.

Yes it will. I use my G2 controller with AFP and it works fine.

Thanks. Since you must have used both. Does AFP have better realism?

I "HAD" both sold G2, AFP is much better for 3D. If you fly the pattern G2 is fine. I had my RF controller working with my AFP and worked fine. LeeU

Pretty much the same story i have heard. I fly(or try to) fly 3D and many of the maneuvers are easier to do on a real rc airplane than in G2!
