Mine does that every now and then. To make it faster, I truen the resolution down low, let it load, then turn it higher. There is also some other adjustment, 16 bit and 32 bit. Don't know what they are or what they do, but changing them usually helps. Usually I will get 50 FPS with a slow Dell. Good luck and I hope this helps.

From: Leicester,
I have this problem on my laptop (800MHz, 128mb RAM and a 8mb graphics card running win2k) however my dads pc runs it great with a 400MHZ, 128MB RAM, 16MB Graphics Card in win2K.
I can run it with all the detail turned off, i assume its because of the graphic card!!
What spec is your pc?
btw it runs fine in xp too on a mates pc.
Hope this helps

My system is Pent 111 448 MHZ with 64 MB of RAM. The graphics card is a 3D Rage Pro AGP 2X. My comp at work Has 128MB Ram & runs GeForce graphics card with no problems at all. Thanks for the feedback, maybe I need more memory?

That's all the memory I have, but I don't have a graphics card and I get around 50 FPS on 800*600 resolution(I think) Whenever mine runs slow(1-2 FPS), I lower the resolution and then put it back on normal. Works every time.
