QUESTION: This is for Dion or anyone else you could answer: I am interested in running AFP on my Front Projection monitor - it is an 8 foot wide screen by 4 1/2 foot tall. I need to run a custom resolution of either 1280 x 720; 1920x 1080i; or 1368x 768. Basically a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio. I need to know if AFPD will take "custom resolutions" . A lot of the new games do indeed support 16:9 ratio resolutions from the pc. I am hoping to use one of these resolutions on my pc to drive my projector. A lot of people that have Home theater PC's use a program called "PowerStrip" to create these resolutions if there card doesn't support them natively. Any help to test these resolutions with AFPD would be appreciated. Keep in mind - that on your square shped monitors 4:3 aspect ratio - if AFPD does run - the picture will look squished - but if the game syncs to these reses - then that Is GREAT ! I hope that it does work - I would love to fly on my BIG screen. Thanks in Advance.

I am trying to modify the Yak 55 that I downloaded to be similar to the specifications of the Extreme Flight Yak 54. When I do a "save as" the paint scheme goes to white....no paint scheme at all. Does anyone know how I avoid losing the paint?

Thanks in advance.

If you can spring for 9700 or better card, I'd go for that.

Just purchased the Aerofly Professional Deluxe along with an adapter for my Futaba 9C. The simulator is great, however, I am having a problem when I go to edit a model and use the "Save as". The program crashes and I have to restart. If I just use the "Save" I have no problems. Ikarus tech support has no idea and has stopped responding to my e-mails. Typical, they got my $$ and now theyr'e off and running! I've already downloaded the latest video drivers for my 128 mg GForce video card and the latest Direct X drivers from MS.

Have you installed the patches to see if the problem persists?

Yes - I have installed the patches and made sure my Windows xp was up-to-date along with my video drivers and the Directx drivers. I have a 1.4cpu with a 40gig hd and a Gforce 5200 with 128mg video, so I know my pc can run this. Like I said, I can do a "save" with no problem, but if I try to rename a model or do a "save as" the program crashes and I need to restart it.

Aaaaah good old Norton's seems to have been the problem. Although I'm really not sure because I did a reinstall of the Windows xp os. However, disabling Norton's Firewall and Anti Virus software seems to have cleared up the problem. Thanks all for the support.
