Guys,

You can add planes to G2 by downloading them. One place is the "official" swap page at http://www.realflight.com/swap/index.html

But I thought you had to have a particular "add on" disk. ???

The truth u don't.
Yet this planes are based on others, but the specs have been changed so they behave liket the one they want.
For ex. u want an alpha, so u modify a pt40 to act as and alpha, yet it looks like a pt 40.
This little detail of the airplane looking as a pt40 is supposed to have been corrected by the G3.

If you want to send a plane to a friend then you can go into My Computer on your desktop if you have that. And then Program Files and then Common Files and then you go into the Knife Edge under that and then under Real Flight. If that doesn't work then you can search for Real Flight on your computer and when it comes up for search results then you should have the planes, recording, and trim schemes and stuff like that. You can click on the planes and then go into there and burn it to a disk or something like that.

I have done something like this before and it had worked but the best way for someone else to get one plane that you have is for them to go online. But obviously if you are sending it to them then they I guess don't have internet. But I hope that helps.

iflynething thank you for all your help. max[8D]

You are most certainly welcome there. Did everything work out alright. Were you able to find where I was saying to go to.

I know that that worked for me sometimes. I used Nero burning software and then when you had to select the file you wanted to burn then I just went under the file at the top of the program and then looked for it there. But that is the alternate way to find stuff about Real Flight...

BTW, if you didn't notice, like I said there is alot of other stuff there also, like the trim schemes, and the airplanes you have loaded and other miscelaneous stuff like that.

If you have any other questions, then I'll do my best to help out you

Thanks

~Michael~
