It's easy. There are many more potential buyers for games than there are for flight simulators geared to RC flying. There just aren't enough of us so to recoup their money the price is higher. Just supply and demand at work in a free enterprise system.

Another thing to look at is actual cost. I purchased the original Real Flight Deluxe for $225.00 four years ago. I've since upgraded to G2. I'm not going to G3 or Aerofly because I'll need to upgrade to a $200.00 video card. So the question is what did I get in return for spending the money on the flight simulator?
In four years I've only had 2 planes that I've trashed. Thanks in large part to the flight simulator. On the simulator I've crashed and crashed and crashed. In my book they are worth every pennny.

Well...another joy of the free market system......
You don't need to buy it....
But for me.... it is worth every cent and for me.......Call of Duty is a game....AFPD is a sim where I can practice routines, moves, plane setups, computer radio programming, et. al....without crashing my real planes........
