RE: FUNTANA 90 and Seagull HARRIER 3D .90 ARF??
Hi
after making the Votec, Yak54 and the Edge 540 50%, I think that I could make smaller planes again.
If you really want the Funtana S 90 and Seagull Harrier 3D, I'll gonna make them.
But I need some help with them.
Normally for building planes I need 3-side-views and photos. If someone can give me such parts, I can start in the next time.
If somebody could make right-angled photos which, I can use as 3-side-views, would be helpfull.
Are there geometric differences between F90 and F140? If not, I can make the Funtana 140 Hacker too[8D].
P.S. take a look to the other plane and helis I made for RC-SIM. I am very proud about my KA-32 and the Chinook.[8D]

I would be down for a F90! There are Funtana downloads here- http://www.rc-sim.de/ You need to login, and if you want the 140 then this is there are a couple that would fit the bill- I would really like to have a REAL F90 with the correct physics though... It would be nice if it looked better too!

I sent an email off to the person suggested about getting the conversion tool and was told that I cannot get it from him and I should send another email back to the first address, that now makes 4 emails requesting this tool.
I have everything else I need to complete thses planes but that [:@]

Bubbagates- Maybe you could collaborate with Yogi on this one? He does exceptional work creating planes for aerofly. I e-mailed him a bunch of funtana pics, including profiles of the top and side. If we could get him a front-end view I'm sure he wil be able to come up with something good! I am only mentioning this because he is already well versed in the software and has volunteered to start on the project. They are a little short of Funtana's in Germany, so I think he could use our help with dimensioning etc...
Check out his planes at the docs site and you will be impressed. Some of the most realistic planes available IMO.
Yogi- if you want I can take measurments in CM and send them to you-

Codey,
If he needs it I'd help in anyway possible. I have seen his planes and they are SWEET. Unfortunetly I planted my F90 just short of the runway in a pretty good crosswind today and tore the gear out so I have it apart right now.... Not to bad for over 50 flights
It should be ready tomorrow or Saturday...

Thanks Max,
No big deal. Everyone that was watching thought the same thing I did, that I had cleared the tall grass. I was basically hovering level on high idle, blipped the throttle to get moving forward and get the sink rate going and at the same time I let off the throttle the gust dropped off and she set right down in the grass with very little momentum from about 2 feet up
It did hit hard enough to pop the gear block right out very cleanly so I have a feeling it was on it's way out anyway (lots of harrier landings). It's already glued back in with Gorilla glue and tomorrow once the glue has completely setup (it has stopped foaming) I'll pin the block to the triangle stock, then pin the triangle stock into the former. I even have the 3 new blind nuts installed already for the CF gear that I had just bought for it then recover the area.
Which one in all of the pics is yours?

RE: FUNTANA 90 and Seagull HARRIER 3D .90 ARF??
Sorry bout the broken gear block- man if I had a dollar for every time I saw a gear block get torn out of a 3-D plane I would have enough greenbacks to finish my FT90!
Max- thanks for posting the pics- I'm sure they will help alot! But what Yogi really needs is a 3-view. He has the top and side views- we just need a good full frontal view- down the thrustline to get the cross-section of the fuse. I dont have anything like it, and it's not a typical view to see in a pic, as they are always off- angle somehow. Besides- the front isn't exactly it's best angle!
Yogi- you hearing this? You have a crew of willing participants!
I'm half tempted to start a new thread in the 3-D forum asking for these pics... Hmmm...

Hi Guys
With these pics I can start the F90+F140-Hacker.
thx
@bubbagates: Have you started an 3D-model, and when in which format?
