Default AFPD Commander Version

The commander version did not come with an interface cable to connect a futaba transmitter. Can I buy an interface cable seperatly?
Thanks
Dean

You will need the USB cable with the futaba adapter...it was originally sold either/or....

the USB version or the commander....

I believe they are planning on releasing an adapter for the people who bought the commander version......but I am not sure about the details

If I knew by purchasing the commander version...you would get a interface later if you wanted one....I would have bought the commander version. Now I want to trade up to that version. How about it STLPilot....what ye say? Capt,n

Any cable that works with FMS will work. You need to leave the Commander plugged in while you use the FMS cable, for copy-protection reasons. There are a number of vendors of FMS cable vendors to be found on the Internet, cost is $15 to $40 depending on type you get and who you get it from . You can also make it yourself, google for plans.

We'll have our new one on display in Toledo, won't have them for about a month or less. They will be $40 and will work with all radios, not just 1.
